About the Customer and the Project:
The Client is the world’s largest DNA network in the world and helps people find the singular story in their DNA. The foundation of the service is an extensive collection of billions of digital records, documents, and digitized DNAs combined with modern search technologies, tools, and collaboration features. All that enabled more than 2 million subscribers to create over 18 billion historical records, along with millions of DNA results to make meaningful discoveries.
Responsibilities
Work closely with designers, products, developers, and other QA team members to come up with detailed test cases and test runs in test rails for new features
Own end to end feature testing and become a SME once the feature is released
Log detailed bugs in Jira with exact repro steps, expected and actual behavior
Participate in release/regression testing for iOS and Android app releases (2 mobile apps)
Improve existing test cases along the way
Technical Requirements:
3+ years of experience testing Android and iOS apps
Good understanding of RESTful APIs
Proven experience writing detailed test cases covering all the positive, negative, and edge-case scenarios
Proven experience executing hundreds of test cases as part of release/regression testing in a timely manner
Proven experience writing clear and reproducible bug tickets
Experience working with Jira, Confluence, and TestRails or similar products
Start-up mentality and ability to adapt to fast-changing requirements/goals
Good Communication Skills
English: upper-intermediate (both speaking and writing)
It will be a plus:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field
