Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) - Doctors Without Borders is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural disasters. We offer assistance to people based on need and irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.

We are looking for a Medical Coordinator Support to start immediately in Kyiv.

Main Purpose:

Supporting the Medical Coordinator through delegated tasks and responsibilities including administrative tasks related to the coordination of work, ensuring good relationships with local and national authorities and ensuring adequate program management in the projects, according to MSF protocols, (para)medical standards, rules of hygiene and the standard precautions in order to ensure the delivery of quality medical care for patients and their communities as well as to improve the health conditions of the targeted population

Main Duties:

• Applying the employee health policy and participating in the evaluation of hospital structures that can serve as reference structures for national and international staff. Participating in the medical monitoring of MSF personnel and overseeing all medical expenses associated with various consultations and hospitalizations in collaboration with the line manager.
• Supporting in compilation of internal and external medical reports as requested by Medical Coordinator.
• Assisting in collection and analysis of epidemiological data.
• Assisting in briefings and de-briefings of medical and para-medical team members.
• Supporting projects as requested by Medical Coordinator (ie. Trainings, short gap filling in medical position etc). This requires flexibility to travel to various project sites.
• Support the Medical Coordinator in medical representation to external authorities and engage in other health actors via the cluster coordination system.
• Facilitate and enable the donation or medical supplies to health facilities throughout the country.

Applicants should have a Medical Doctor qualification and fluent in Ukrainian and English languages.

Expected gross salary is 35,000 – 36,000 UAH per month.
