Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) - Doctors Without Borders is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural disasters. We offer assistance to people based on need and irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.
We are looking for a Finance and Accountancy Manager to start immediately in Lviv with flexibility to move to Kyiv in future.
Main Purpose:
Coordinating and supervising the accounting of the mission (accounting, treasury, audit procedures, etc.) according to the instructions of the Finance Coordinator, and in compliance with the legal obligations of both Medecins Sans Frontieres and the country of Ukraine.
Main Duties:
- Being responsible for quality and timely accounting e.g. cash procedures, bank accounts, receipts and supporting documents
- Coordinating and overseeing the payment of tax liabilities in order to comply with legal obligations
- Coordinating and supervising the conduct of local audits relating to accounting, tax, labour, stock and asset management
- Provide technical advice and guidance for any accounting-related issues and legal compliance.
The position will be based in Lviv but with flexibility to move to Kyiv in future. Fluency in English language is a requirement for the position.
Expected gross salary is 40,000 – 42,000 UAH per month.
