MAIN TASK:
- Lead projects through the major phases of a user-centered product development process;
- Partner with product owners, development leads, and other major stakeholders to define scopes and develop roadmaps;
- Organize user research to identify research question(s) and hypotheses;
- Participate in team development activities such as peer review, critique, ideation, and UX evangelism;
- Support with UX development paths for new and existing functionality across products;
- Transform ideas, business opportunities, research, and creative vision into tangible experiences that provide clear, usable, useful, and desirable outcomes for users;
- Fully consume and become an expert on the design system by partnering with the team and providing influence on future needs;
- Skilled in creating wireframes, site maps, user journeys; detailing work including annotations, prototypes, functional specifications;
- Collaborate with key project team members, including product managers and developers to deliver end-to-end solutions;
- set up and plan design process on the project, set priorities to product requirements;
- plan and conduct user research, business and competitor analysis;
- define user groups and personas;
- design information architecture and user flows;
- create interfaces and interaction prototypes;
- create and maintain UI style guides;
- hand off clean, high-fidelity designs to developers;
- conduct UI review to make sure the developed solution is aligned with the mockups;
- communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers;
- daily commutation with the clients.
FROM YOU WE EXPECT:
- Ideally 3+ years of experience in UX design role and/or an advanced degree;
- Experience in leading the work of others and mentoring junior team members;
- Degree in human-computer interaction, interaction design, user experience, or other related disciplines; a certification from an established user experience intensive “boot camp” program; or equivalent work experience;
- Portfolio showcasing a firm grasp on user-centered design processes, the use of research to drive design, and experience with relevant techniques and methodologies;
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills;
- Experience using tools such as Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, and InVision. We use Figma;
- Highly comfortable with uncertainty; you excel at using structured thinking and frameworks to tame ambiguity;
- Consulting with clients to understand their goals and explain the process;
- Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, other);
